Hello! I was wondering, do the Alecani practice imping? And if so, do they use it purely for practical reasons, or do they use it for any decorative/social reasons (like trading feathers with close friends or creating unusual patterns in their wings/tails, etc.)?

They sure do!  Both for practical and aesthetic reasons, depending on the tribe.  The Tas’Dimali are experts with body decor, from feather dyes, decorative fur shaving, and imping.  The sky is the limit with those guys.  For tribes like the Ku’Dimali, seanal feathers that have molted and are in ok condition are often saved for future imping need.  If the individual has a bit of extra money, they might dye or bleach their imped feather to match their current season’s colors.  But more often than not, you might see an Alecani flying about with a white feather or two they’ve had to imp on from previous winter sheds.

4. A character you rarely talk about?

I rarely talk about most of my characters, but lately I’ve been thinking about Charlie and Vasily, characters turned Traveller NPCs turned characters. I just like ‘em. [Here’s some five year old art with them]

6. Two OCs of yours that look alike despite not being related?

Prooooobably Yves and Nikola though I’ve been futzing with Yves’ design forever and I might work to change that. (Nikola and Yves, old art)
