Anjell was livid. Frustration could be seen on the lines of his handsome face, that is if anyone was even able to see anything in this snowstorm that made it impossible to drive. He couldn’t see anything in his silver Mercedes and had no choice but to park his car in order to avoid getting into a stupid accident simply because he was too stubborn to realize that there was no way he’d be able to drive back to his place. Out of all days, he had to have a meeting out of Seoul... Anjell had only himself to blame though: had it taken five seconds to look at the weather forecast, he probably would have thought twice before going to the meeting.
Said phone that was currently in his hand as he checked for the nearest place he could find a shelter in. A few nice hotels were in the area, along with public saunas he’d have no troubles paying for but what caught his interest was the fact that Hyunjin’s place was actually the closest. Well, he really didn’t need to think twice. Wrapping the thick black scarf he had put on the passenger’s seat earlier around his neck, Anjell grabbed his things and got out of his car, cursing at the cold snowflakes that were rending him blind and deaf, eyes squinting in an attempt to look down at his phone to see the directions to his friend’s apartment.
After struggling for a whole hour in the middle of the blizzard, it was an exhausted, upset and soaked to the bones Anjell that was knocking at the door of the apartment he had gone to a couple of times. He hoped that Hyunjin wasn’t asleep or somewhere else, because he wasn’t sure he’d have enough strength to go find another shelter. It would be easier to sit there and die from hypothermia, he bitterly thought, arms wrapped around himself in a desperate attempt to keep warm. Anjell was that close to kick and curse at the door when it opened, revealing a very surprised Hyunjin who clearly didn’t expect anyone that night. “Oh, thank god you’re here. What took you that long to open the door? I’m coming in before I die.”
Hyunjin had decided to stay in the warmth of his home and just relax for the day. He hadn’t any job to do and after checking the weather forecast he had decided he wouldn’t bother to head out. He had everything he needed at home and it would be a few days till he had to go shopping again for things he was out of. The actor got comfortable on his couch after he had busied himself with cleaning his apartment and then snuggled under a blanket. He started to watch a movie, but his eyes soon began to close and he kept nodding off. Before he could fall fully asleep though he heard a knock on his front door. He rubbed his eyes a bit and got up before glancing outside the window to see rapidly falling snow. Hyunjin rubbed the back of his head as he made his way to his front door, wondering who had decided to leave their place in this weather.
The young male opened the door and was really surprised to see Anjell standing outside, looking like he was been out in the cold for quite a while. He didn’t expect the other male to be out this late and he knew he wasn’t really hiding his confusion. “Hello to you to Anjell.” Hyunjin said with a sheepish chuckle, being more awake now that the cold air from outside crept up to him. He then stepped aside and tugged his friend in by his arm. Then he closed the door again to keep the cold outside. “I had nodded off for a moment, but what brings you here? I thought you might be at your office, working in the warmth.” The actor confessed, the smile staying on his lips, because this was how he was.
“You look really cold and soaked, Anjell. What can I do to warm you up? I can offer you a towel and a blanket, I can make you a hot bath while your clothes dry and of course I can also get you something hot to drink.” Hyunjin offered his friend, knowing he would get sick for sure if he didn’t dried himself and warmed up. The young male wouldn’t mind if Anjell stayed over for the night because it didn’t look like the blizzard would die own any time soon. And he also knew his friend would know better than wanting to leave again right away. “For now take off your shoes and coat and then tell me how you wanna warm up.”
