OMG OMG OMG Ok this is amazing. First there’s the obvious point that this is a 13 year old story we’ve all known about for 13 years so why they’re acting like it’s news is weird as hell. News sites cover new things, not a story from 13 years ago. So to call it a “secret” when everyone knows about it including Kate, it’s not exactly a secret, idiots.
But secondly it’s so so obvious that they know nothing about Kate and William at all and haven’t done the tiniest bit of research. They make out like it’s surprising Anna and William are friends and Kate can’t stand to be seen in the same room as Anna. Now they show this most clearly in their total lack of research about something I knew without even looking it up. They mention: “Smith now heads an interior design firm with a friend in London.” That friend is Emilia D’Erlanger (D’Erlanger and Sloan spring to mind?). If you recognise that name it’s because SHE’S KATE’S BEST FRIEND AND GODMOTHER TO HER FUCKING FIRST BORN CHILD!!! Of course Anna still knows William as she and Kate share a mutual best friend. And If Kate was some massive shrew who couldn’t stand William having seen another human female then why would she be BFFs with Anna’s damn business partner. For them not to even know that is just so embarrassing.
