You… You deserve so much more, and I- I can’t… It’s just not fair, Percy.” I’m blubbering, and I know it. I break down in front of him, tears rushing down my face so fast I can’t breathe enough to get more words out, even as my lungs are sucking in air like I just ran a marathon. Gently, Percy steps closer, wrapping me in his arms. This time, I let him. I continue to bawl into his chest for an eternity before I can finally breathe again. “Percy… we can’t be together anymore.” I have never heard my voice this tiny, this broken; I sound like a small child that’s lost everything and is barely holding on. I feel like one, too.’

Have you thought about how Annabeth's been left by everyone (even Percy because of Hera), and how she's probably just waiting for him to get up and leave her and eventually she blows up on him and basically shoves him away because she just KNOWS he's gonna leave her, but maybe he decides to day by day show her how serious he is about staying (and maybe he even vows to give her 100 different reasons, one for each day until she's satisfied)? Because I do. (Sorry, I got carried away! They hurt me.)

Do you have any advice for doing the PJO Big Bang? Time management, brainstorming, stuff like that? You absolutely don't have to! Have a great day!

Choose a topic that you’re passionate about. To write such a huge amount of words you need to have a personal investment in the story. It needs to be something that really resonates with you, and something that you feel has the potential to be stretched out over tens of thousands of words.

Once you have your premise, make a rough outline of which scenes you want to feature in the story. Just jot down single sentence summaries for all the important plot points and put them in a rough order. With a big project you always need little breadcrumbs to follow, things that can remind you of where you’re going.I did this with both my PJO and Stydia Big Bang fics; After coming up with the basic premise, I started out with just a list of scenes I wanted to include, with dot point or even just one word ideas listed for them. It really helps me to see which narrative and emotional beats I’m doing to hit in advance.

Don’t be afraid to write out of order. Shuffle things around, write scenes you’re inspired by first, remember that you can always add things in as you go and there’s always the editing stage.
