Book List Thing
Book List Thing
Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag ten friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them!

I chose to list these roughly in the order I read them, #1 being the most recent. I did read a few of them more than once (namely The Odyssey, The Aeneid, Lolita) but I was more moved by them the second or third time around.
1. We - Yevgeny Zamyatin
2. Crime and Punishment - Fyodor Dostoyevsky
3. A Hero of Our Time - Mikhail Lermontov
4. The Unbearable Lightness of Being - Milan Kundera
5. Lolita - Vladimir Nabokov
6. Odyssey - Homer
7. Aeneid - Virgil
8. Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close - Jonathan Safran Foer
9. A Prayer for Owen Meany - John Irving
10. Survivor - Chuck Palahniuk
I don't usually do these tag things. But...I'm curious.
