“You Can’t Put a Price on Freedom” by Sarah Kahle depicts a reclined women, her legs held up with rope and reaching outwards. The soft curves of the body contrast the bold colors of the woman’s tattoos and garments. Her expression is playful and energetic, symbolic of the freedom found by many through sex work. Sarah handles watercolor delicately to create subtle details, while the subject plays with boldness rather than discreteness.
