I’ve become addicted to my crack theory that Galadriel will play a major role in the War of the Last Alliance and won’t just be off to the side slicing through Sauron’s goons.
I theorise she will make herself vulnerable to him by opening the door slightly and he will take the opportunity to battle ram his way into her mind…while in the middle of fighting Gil-Galad and Elendil. It would be a distraction, of course, and this bitter reunion wouldn’t last more than a sweet second, but it’ll give his opponents enough time to inflict real damage on his physical form.
