I’ve just learned (from tiktok) that there are “normal” adult men out here who like to play pretend that they’re bleeding out. and dying.

like, apparently this is a thing and they just don’t talk about it very much, but they’ll do this in the shower, they’ll do this if they’re on a hike alone somewhere, they’ll do this pretty much anywhere that it feels right to them. or if they don’t actually act it out, they’ll at least imagine what it would be like. they’re like “the masculine urge to bleed out here after a battle”

Guys guys guys I finally have a good idea for a story again. Idk if it’s a short, or a novel, or more yet…but there is a whumpee in it (obviously). And he’s kind of…my favorite yet? He’s a culmination of a lot of my favorite characters across media but with my own flair (lol obviously, has she (me) ever heard of creating a character before 🤣). And I already love him.🥺🥺🥺

The story takes place in a fantasy setting. There’s traveling between worlds bc I’m a whore for that trope (Narnia was my favorite when I was a kid lol). There’s a cursed prince who doesn’t remember who he is. There’s body horror. There’s captivity. Betrayal and intrigue. Jealousy and revenge! Magic and an epic battle between good and evil. The overwhelming struggle of longing for more but loving where you’re from. Reunion and disaster, redemption and loss. Perhaps a romance👀 HAHA listen to me ramble, I’m giddy

So I finally arrived in Rome with my history course yesterday (after a hella amusing flight, three missing pieces of luggage and a train ride in the probably most overfilled train i've ever been in) and surprise, surprise - we've got wifi *_____* And today we're going to visit like the whole city.
