FACTS but about Salem
I see we have someone with taste, let’s go with the evil spawn
-As said before he’s either a Maine Coon or a Norwegian Forest cat. It’s not clear since he was feral, but anyways, he’s huge and fluffy
-For some reason he’s wary of humans and won’t accept any going near him, he will bite and scratch with killing intent.
-Neon found him in the forest that protects the Prieto manor. He would hiss at her and keep his distance, so she’d leave him fish to eat. When she went to the forest after her grandparents’ deaths he actually got close to her and sat on her lap, apparently to console her. When she tried to go back home he kept following her and meowing loudly. From then on they’ve been inseparable
-When Neon was trying to name him she kept saying words she liked. When she said Salem he turned to her and that’s the name that stuck as if he had chosen it. The pentagram pendant was picked to fit the whole witchcraft aesthetic
-On the weird occasion that Neon’s sick he has to lay with her in bed. Madam Pomfrey tried to keep him out the Hospital wing but somehow he keeps finding his way in. She’s given up and just let’s him in.
-He’s fascinated with toads. When Neon got Gustavo he spent two hours looking at him. And when Valentin was added he spent another two looking at him. He’s tried to pet them gently with his paw. Tulip was scared when she saw the giant evil cat looking at Dennis, she honestly thought he’d try to eat him, but he just stays near and even guards him from other people
-On that note, Tulip manages to get the satanic cat to like her. When she starts dating Neon he stops hissing and starts sitting near her as well. Could be the fact that she’s spent so many years stealing Neon’s clothes he feels she’s okay to be with.
-When Ro and Tiago are born he gets in their cradle as if guarding them. Nobody but Neon or Tulip can touch the babies and he’s very patient with them, no matter how much they grab his ears and tail.
-If Dennis is Tulip’s best friend, Salem is Neon’s son. 90% of the time she refers to him as “hijo” (son) and he’s spoiled. He won’t eat any type of dry cat food.
-Since he used to be a feral cat, it’s common to see him around the school grounds hunting birds and rats. He’s tried to hunt down Talbott at least seven times. Nobody is more afraid of this cat than Talbott is.
