Happy Hareswatch
So, it's the Start of the year 206 AV on the Calendar I've created
The Name of Hareswatch comes from Ser Terry Pratchett, author of the Discworld Books. In the Series, there is a Winter Solstice Festival called "Hogswatch." So, I took that as the holiday for the Winter Solstice Festival, and created names for the Other Three (Hares for the Spring, because of their connection with Fertility)
The Celebration of the Spring Equinox (as with the other Solstices/Equinoxes) is on the Saturday during the Festival (and the Intercalation makes it so the actual Solstice/Equinox is usually during the Festival)
And the Sunday in Hareswatch is Laetare Sunday, also known as Mothering Sunday & Rose Sunday (which acts as a Rest Period in Lent, and gives hope for the upcoming Resurrection in the midst of the usually austere Lenten Period)
