DATES: We're excited to announce that JancyWeek2024 will be...

🎃 October 28th — 🍂 November 3rd

THEMES: This year we thought it would be fun to really focus on alternative universe (AU) prompts while also providing some more canon-compliant themes. Each day will have a broad theme with corresponding AU and canon themes for inspiration.  

✨ A huge shout out and 'thank you' to Gem for not only coming up with the AU centric-theme idea, but also creating all of the themes listed here. It's going to be such a fun week because of their ideas!!✨

If you are writing fic for the event and are also posting on AO3, please add it to the JancyWeek2024 collection. Also, it is not necessary to share/post the fic on tumblr to add your fic to the AO3 collection.

To enter the lottery, all you have to do is:

Create Content for JancyWeek2024 & include the tag #giveaway2024 until November 10th, 2024 @ midnight (UTC)! Content includes any fan art, fan fic, moodboard, gif set, playlist, or original jancy themed creation that we can reblog to the main jancyweeks blog. Only posts that include the tag #giveaway2024 are eligible to win. Winners will be notified via Tumblr chat. Winners need to claim their prize within 48 hours or another winner will be selected.

Each content post counts as a chance to win, so the more you create for JancyWeek2024, the better your chances are of winning!

hello, loved jancy week this year! any updates on the giveaway? if it's handled more privately i apologize for snooping, i was just curious 😅

Hi! Great question. In total transparency, I forgot to look for the “giveaway” tag when reblogging posts so I need to go through the reblogs for each post shared to JancyWeek2024, check to see if the giveaway tag was used during the OG posting, and create the drawing pool from there. Sorry to everyone but I hope to have the two winners announced by the end of the month (November)!!
