Maybe he wants to cover up more? I hadn't noticed he put on weight, but now that you pointed it out I can see that you're right. I mean Ginnifer's wardrobe has been different as well since she's been pregnant twice, so obviously Snow dresses different now too. I mean yeah they have to accommodate for their actor's bodies (they're human after all) but my point is perhaps the actors asked for the change? When my weight fluctuates I prefer to cover up or wear baggies clothes. Could be their choice.

For me, it’s much more likely, given how ouat religiously follows a lot of other shitty wardrobe tropes, that it was an executive decision. But of course, you are entitled to your opinion.
