So I finally changed my blog title.

I like this one a lot; it's a line from a poem from someone who was possibly the best teacher I ever had.  Probably the best teacher I ever had.  One of those teachers that actually teaches you things, whether it's about their subject or not, at exactly the right time.

Because Amanda And I Don't Talk Nearly As Much As We Should...

...I will write a memory I have about her. 

So, I don't know if y'all remember a glorious day a few months ago where I went to the city to see Hank and John Green on The Great American Tour de Nerdfighting 2012. If you don't, it's okay, I do. I remember standing in an insanely long line outside the building with my brother and friend Michelle (who was, essentially, acting as our supervision - my brother and I tend to put ourselves in positions where we are liable to get ourselves killed, so this was a preventative measure). I had known in advance that the lovely Amanda was going to be there, so I was, sorta, scanning the line for her, or seeing if I could hear her voice (I expected screaming). About 30 seconds into my search, the sound of two or three dozen nerdy voices singing nerdy songs filled the air, and I figured the hope was lost of finding my friend, so I instead joined the singing. After a song and a half, I tried to figure out who was at the heart of the singing...

...and of course it was Amanda, being crazyhappysilly, at the heart of everything. 

Good times, good times.

I love Cranium. And I love games like Munchkin and Taboo and Apples to Apples (which are not technically board games but we keep them with the board games in my house).

Um...I rewatched Sherlock with a friend of mine (who hadn't seen Season 1 Epsidoe 3 yet). If that doesn't count, then How I Met Your Mother (season 5, some number of episodes).

Desert. I hate being cold.

Yes. I can't think of any off the top of my head. But yes. Absolutely.

Wil Wheaton, Matt Smith, John Green, Hank Green, and Neil Patrick Harris. (Wow. That was male-centric of me).

9. Weirdest skill?

I can wiggle my ears. I can also bend my thumb all the way back, all the way forward, and I can twist it all the way behind my hand.

10. Favorite ice cream flavor?

Samoa. Like the Girl Scout Cookie.

Not last I checked.
