Re: your post about border patrol games, other than papers please I feel like no im not a human is the best of the border police games where the critique of what you are doing is part of the game. I actually think ninah is better in a lot of ways. The undead people you let in may become murderous, but the information the government issues on identifying them is completely inaccurate, and the game calls into question whether some of them would have even hurt anyone if not for the atmosphere of paranoia (which has also led the human player to kill people). You meet a lot of visitor characters who are deeply sympathetic, and humans who are the scum of the earth, and vice versa. It definitely makes the flaws in other games in the genre more apparent.

people have been giving this game really high praise in the replies on that post, so while I haven't played / seen the game, im gonna guess that the creators were actually aware of the inherent fascism in categorizing people as dangerous based on physical characteristics, and actually made the game to reflect that.

plus, im pretty sure they were the first child of the fusion between the anomaly spotting and border patrol genres (combining exit 8 with papers please) that inspired the games that came after it, like "animal hospital" and "no, thats not my neighbor" (that have been talked about in excess under my post, which has been very fun to read!)

sidenote: im also very glad that people have been (deservingly) shitting on Xenofeels, the "gooner border patrol game" (yikes) which, bonus piece of info on that one: this is something i discovered when making my first post about it by trying to find it via searching "shotgun border patrol game":

not to suggest that the "kill immigrants at the border with shotguns game created by a white supremacist group" cursed the "killing immigrants at the border with shotguns" genre, no, it was obviously a bad idea even without knowledge about this, but finding this in one google search, on accident, while trying to find xenofeels really opens your eyes to how little research the xenofeels creator did before releasing that mess. that's the only other border patrol shotgun game. did they not do a single google search before making their whole game? come the fuck on.
