Thank you🥺 this is the first time I've written something. Btw, there is one curse word, two terms of endearment and mention of marriage.

"Hyuck, stop worrying and come out," you called from the other side of the door.

You and Donghyuck had come to a shop to buy a kurta for him for your cousin's wedding. It was the first one he had ever worn and he was worried about not being able to pull it off well.

A few seconds of silence passed before the door to the dressing room opened and Donghyuck stepped out.

You were, in a word, stunned.

You were sure he wouldn't look bad, but you hadn't prepared yourself for him to look this good either. He wore a black kurta with little gold embroidered buttons and sleeves rolled up to his elbows. It brought out his features in the best way, and something about seeing him in traditional clothes made your heart beat stupidly fast.

You couldn't help but stare a bit and bite your bottom lip to keep a squeal from coming out. But Donghyuck took your gestures as you trying to control your laughter, and in turn he rolled his eyes.

"Nevermind. I'll wear something else," he turned around to go inside but stopped in his tracks at your high pitched response.

"Shit, Hyuck. I could literally marry you right now."

Your boyfriend turned around with an incredulous look and raised brows, "Are you proposing to me, baby?"

At the realization of your words, you felt a blush creep up your cheeks which you tried to cover up with a light smack to Donghyuck's arm, "Oh, wouldn't you like that."

He chuckled while putting his arms around you and pulling you close, "You're adorable."

"Hyuck!" you said, frantically looking around, being accutely aware of your surroundings, "Not here. Someone might see us."

"Nothing will happen," Donghyuck whined. "But Y/N~ My sweet Y/N," you faced him only to see his softened expression, "do you really like it?"

You relaxed a little in his arms. "Yes, my love," you grinned and booped his nose, "You look incredible."

Donghyuck couldn't help but smile back. He didn't know too much about your culture, but he was willing to learn. And he was glad to see you happy.

she has a very cousin-ish vibe, everytime I talk to her I think of my only favourite cousin from my dad's side NDJFHFI she is *inhales* like my cousin and I definitely see why we get along uwu the song itself brings alot of childhood memories that I spent with the ones I loved and my cousin being one of them, so talking to her feels like a trip down memory lane every time.

Now you probably just think I'm trolling but NO, I AM VERY MUCH LEGIT RN DJDBDJ I know it seems weird, but damn, everytime I talk to her about something that bothers me, she makes it seem so easy to calm down and to relax. She's rational and this song is carefree, it fits her perfectly. Another childhood song.

Also electric hearts because the beat fits the way her personality is precieved by me, very optimistic when she needs to be and she knows what to do, how to help, and she's always there by you <333 like the beat, she knows how to make someone happy.

This song is very unappreciated *cough* along with uhgood and badbye *cough*, I don't see ANYONE talking about it and it's a literal masterpiece. Brooklyn brooke gives me the same vibe, but whenever I listen to that song, it's calm, it's paced quite to my liking and it has its ups and downs with the rap verses and the choruses. Brooke is like exactly the way this song is structured to me. She's fun to talk to, she's energetic, she's also pretty laid back and calm depending on the situation. She reads me well and I rely on her a lot. Just like the city, seoul, a home to many people, she's like home to me.

It's the beat of the song. Definetly. I love the way the song just speaks with her, everytime I listen to this song I think of her. She's definitely a song like that.

hhhh YUNN I love her. She was my first moot on here, she supported me ALL THE WAY, she is the author to my comfort fic and she is the reason I picked up writing in the first place. Love me now holds alot of significance because this was the song that I listened to non stop while writing the fic that brought me here. So, in that way, it holds alot of memory for me. Along with that song, yunn and and a few others were there who were cheering me on despite my urge to discontinue it. Honestly, I owe yunn alot, and the song's melody, the lyrics, mark and taeyong's verses, just everything is yunn. Not a childhood song, but feels the same way.

Literally, she is my saviour, she's like an elder sister, I rely so much on her and every day she makes it easier for me whenever we speak. If it wasn't for her effort herself, it may have been way harder for me because I was in this bubble of insecurity and she made me so comfortable despite barely knowing each other. If it wasn't for dawn, I may have still been struggling with alot. So, this is a thanks.
