Wait. the character didn’t KNOW a pregnancy/eggs could result from sex with the Chain, and he did, and it’s just fine? That’s not informed consent, and it’s pretty unsettling. I get that it’s your OC, but it’s uncomfortable to read. It’s like if your partner sabotaged your birth control and didn’t tell you before impregnating you. That’s not warm and fluffy, it’s terrifying.

I’m answering this OOC even if I’d usually answer any questions as Eva, but this calls for me (the mun) to speak up.

I’m sorry that you feel this way about the story! I can see how you’d think so at first, but there’s a few key things to remember when it comes to the lamias from Vex;

First of all, Eva wouldn’t have been able to get pregnant in the first place if she wasn’t a mage. She didn’t think she was one, and thus, thought it was impossible. But her SOUL still kept the wish to have a family with Blaise even if she didn’t know it would be possible.

Second, for a lamia from Vex to be able to get or make another bitty pregnant, there’s a few things that needs to be in place;- One, the place needs to be safe.- Two, the owner of the lamia (In this case Eva) needs to be okay with the hatchlings coming into the world.- Three, both parents needs to want to have the little ones, or it won’t work.

So in this case, it’s not a case of the partner sabotaging the birth controls at all! It’s actually more a case of Eva thinking she was ‘infertile’ and thus couldn’t have kids and then getting pregnant!

I hope this clears things out and that you understand better now what I was aiming for with the story. Hopefully you can see it in a different light now!

cool cool, sounds like you like your own company or do you meetup with friends a lot too? go to parties? how was your childhood?

I never really was the outgoing person. So I don’t really go to parties. I rather go to the woods or some field and relax there. Only exception is when i have somebody i can trust with me, because i was never a big fan of crowded places plus having somebody next to you is more fun.

My childhood is euh.. empty memories. Barely remember anything about it.

introvert or extravert? reading or watching tv? sounds like cycling is very popular in belgium

Definitely Introverted. I don’t really watch tv, I mainly use my tv to play Spotify. A bit strange i know haha

I do sometimes watch anime on my laptop, because then i can just relax cozy in my couch, playing some music while watching it. If i got lucky then Mystie (my cat) also joins 😌

But if i had to chose between a tv or reading a book. I think i rather would read a book. Tv shows doesn’t interest me that much. I do enjoy a movie but yeah

Haha yess cycling is pretty popular, there are a few belgium professional cycling teams and we do have good professional cyclists in the sport 🤭
