does anyone have that post about books to read on the issues with palestine and i.s.ra.el? i used to have the post saved because i told myself i'd get a different book on it every time i finished the last and yet i must've not saved it as a bookmark like i'd thought i had.
sorry for the mia status but i’ve been extremely worn out lately and busy— think i’m going through some kind of sickness too.
received an ask from this user, ask says name is “Riham”, url is “rehamalanqar”, only post says name is “Reham Tayseer”, and gofundme says name is “Reham Al-Anqar” it’s a minute discrepancy to the point that i really don’t know whether or not it indicates a scam. do you have some further insight here? sorry if this is an inappropriate ask to send, you corrected me on my reblogging of a scam post so i figure you have some more authority than me on this but i understand that you probably can’t spend literally all of your time double checking every single fundraiser

Unvetted campaign and reverse image search showing nothing. Also a GFM. Making it more reliable. Please also remember that many, many of these people are not well-versed in speaking or writing english and using translation apps in some cases.
Compare it to how scammers like to typically use an untraceable Donation pool paypal link with only just a name.
But, please remember, that there are campaigns that have had to turn to paypal or GGF due to their GFMs getting frozen. So the best bet is to go through the reblogs with tags and comments on to see if you can figure out if a post is vetted by trusted sources or by association via Palestinians that know them.
Is ameerakhaled verified?
Looks unvetted currently but most likely to be reliable as it’s a GFM.
Hi. I got an ask from @shadowyavenuetaco claiming their name is Bilal. Are they the Bilalbal scammer? I'm pretty sure they are but I want to double check before reporting and blocking them.
Unlikely to be Bilalbal. When they’re entirely two different people and stories. Don’t reuse images. Etc. Bilalbal is also not a scammer, simply an account under suspicion when they copied the whole of another GFM to their own. Which is frowned upon but not the whole sign of a scammer. And honestly needs reevaluating on their status.
Shadowyavenuetaco is simply unvetted at this time as far as I can tell. It is up to you whether or not you wish to share unvetted funds.
hello! i wanted to ask you if you know anything about the account free-gaza2, they are using a story from a campaign i previously donated to from the user doaa-jad who i know is legitimate but this new gofundme link is different and the legitimate gofundme is still up and hasn't reached its goal, plus this new gofundme seems to have a different organizer and refers to a sewing business which i never saw doaa-jad mention i don't think. plus a bunch of other inconsistencies
It’s the secondary fund to Doaa’s (dodoomar12345). Vetted by 90-ghost. It’s to help the family overall as the goal increased and also the sewing business. Please look through the reblogs of fund posts with comments and tags visible, you will tend to find people verifying they were reblogged by vetters or vetted by association by fellow Palestinians. Both of the more recent posts were both reblogged by 90-ghost.
Hello, I got a message from an account named "keensaladbanana" that looks suspiciously similar to "burningnightgiver" (who I think is legitimate). This feels really weird tbh.
Please remember that these people do not speak English as their first language. I’ve seen many of them reuse the “Hello Dears” one before making a more personalized one for themselves, while also still reusing that message too. Pay attention to the way to donate. It’s a GFM. Which, again, are much, much more harder to fake. The account is currently unvetted as far as I’m aware of at this time, so you can use your own discretion on whether or not you want to share unvetted funds or only vetted funds.
