From the journals of Master Surro, currently attempting to rescue children sent to the Sith Academy from the mortality rate of the “training”:

I think I’ve lost some Jedi patience, but, “Go forth and slaughter people who are on our list” doesn’t really deserve my tolerance, does it?

I suppose Force sensitives are not the only lives wasted here.

I was both right and wrong. I do still hear his voice. I do still feel the pain, and the guilt, of what he made me do. Of the hubris that allowed him to infest my mind, long after his destruction. I still wish every day that the voice would leave me.

However, death was not the solution, and would not have been a release, but simply an end.

I have come to Korriban, not to cause harm, but to save who I can. It is the least I can do. But it is still at times difficult.
