okay, okay okay okay I know there is this IDEA that the film was absolute TRASH it got a lot of hate, and in some regards I agree, there were MAJOR issues that, had they been different the film would of been WAY WAY better. but I shall discuss what I liked/disliked and what shit people said that I did/didn’t agree with.
first casting was pretty good, I really liked most of the casting! and characterisation was pretty good too, in that the characters were like how they were in the comics?? well pretty close?? deadshot was a bit weird tho?? and digger was good, and funny, but he wasn’t quite there, he needed more, needed to be angrier or something? (( I feel like some people might be thinking I am lazy for making my fc ja.i court.ney because it’s like related to the film and shit, but I think he works you know? I liked him in it, and I can do what I want lol)
acting was pretty good, I think there was some great talent on there....minus ca.ra delev.ingne....I don’t care who gets mad, she can not act omg. and enchantress was fucking weird in that movie too.
OPINIONS I HAVE SEEN THAT I DISAGREE WITH
digger’s costume: I saw people complaining about this?? I thought it was good, like okay it was a bit different with the CAPTAIN jacket and the jewelery but, other than that it is just like the comics! I didn’t mind his jacket, but I don’t think comic digger would wear that? the jewelery and stuff I incoporate a bit into my character, because idk I can do what I want, and I thought it was a good choice ???
the deaths: people sooked about the two main characters to die, aka slipnot and chato. they complained because they were both people of colour??? but um... most squad members were ethnicity other than white, thus its more likely for a person of colour to be one to die...just out of probability lol SECOND and MOST IMPORTANT......SLIPNOT AND CHATO DIED IN SIMILAR CIRCUMSTANCES IN CANON! THEIR DEATHS WERE CANON! soooooo it’s not like some shit move by the movie makers. it happened in the comics.
most complaints about the film were super knit picky and no one talked about the REAL ISSUES! there were two MAJOR issues with the film in my opinion and had these problems been changed the film would of been AMAZING.
TIME FOR THE REAL PROBLEMS WITH SUICIDE SQUAD
FIRST: the plot was dumb. why was enchantress the main villain? it had a lot of holes...like you have batman and flash in the film, but when there is a near apocalyptic situation they both (and wonder woman) turn a blind eye and not interfere at all?? PLUS it wasn’t really the kind of thing the squad does in the comics. the squad is more involved in like terrorism and stopping organisations who pose a threat to the USA....it could of work so much better if they did like a terrorist kind of thing? idk why they didn’t??? only think I can think of is that people might be iffy with terrorism?? like idk people are so sensitive these days like what who knows.
SECOND: that bs harley and joker shit. this is what makes me mad. it was pointless and totally took away from the show. it didn’t make sense? like this isn’t the fucking harley x joker show ???? I’m not even hating on jar.ed le.to okay, its not about that. it ruined the film. it didn’t need to be in there. I get some backstory but ?????????????????? if they had only like the one scene to set harley’s backstory and got rid of the other shit, would of bumped up the film sooooooo much more. so bitter about this.
