Who is her hero? Why does she admire this person?
Unfortunately, I will have to answer this one out of character.
Kelz'thalas has had to do a lot on her own - and thus had to defend herself and others. Truthfully, she might see herself more as the hero but wouldn't find comfort in proclaiming it. It's a job she does without the merit of praise and respect.
Of course, there are 'role models' to which she finds admiration in like her father, her brother or Kal'ren. But they only apply to certain scenarios and with limited influence on her as a person.
I will say as the writer/player of Kelz, this recent traction in roleplaying and writing her has warmed my heart. Some years ago, I was ready to commit the most egregious sin of retiring her or pursuing a story that resulted in her death. But truth be told, you all are my heroes. You have stood by me and Kelz'thalas to validate the importance of her in your stories. And in the essence of being that hero everyone needs, we will mettle when we don't need to. Not every day can either of us be perfect, but we're willing to have the courage to do our very best.
