@anonekomata Continued from here.
There’s a huff, similar to the noises a dog would make, but she seemed... content with the hug. Even if at first it was obvious there was tension, but it quickly disappeared when it came to the soundless ‘purr’ of sorts. It had oddly added to comforting her.
Once the other moved back, and started scribbling on the notepad again, Grim waited patiently. Ears perked forward, showing her full attention was being given for the moment. What she read, only caused the fox to sigh.
“Yeah, yeah. I know, but they sure seem set on pressing the wrong buttons, at times... but, uh. Thanks, Anon.”
At the sight of the box, however, Grim’s eyebrows rose. That was unexpected, but she’ll go ahead and carefully take it from the other’s grasp either way. Only for her tail to wag gently behind her, when seeing that it contained not just food, but a sugary treat of sorts.
“Ah - thank you, but you didn’t have to do that. The hug was more than helpful.”
