( oi dude/broski/homeslice/preferred pronoun,
Is cybersix essentially a robot?
( Alright, so I’m going to try exceptionally hard not to ramble here.
The comics never quite went into the mechanics of the cyber series, at least as I’ve been able to read since it was never fully translated into english. Despite that, we see Cybersix engage in acts like sexual penetration, and constantly struggle with her identity as a woman / artificial human, leading us to assume there’s something quite human about her. The animated show did even less of a job I’d say of tackling the specifics in how she was genetically engineered.
So I’ve basically taken liberties in my interpretation, and have decided on a purely physically superficial basis; both internally and externally, she’s human. In essence what divides the cyber series from their human counterparts is the fact they need sustenance to survive (a green fluid she sucks from the necks of other Von Richter creations in the comic / vials in the show), and have superhuman strength/agility.
There’s also a running theory that the comic was influenced by the movie, The Boys from Brazil, but that’s an entirely different spiel.
I hope that clears things up a bit, and if not, I’m always willing to answer questions. )
