Finally changed my age, so yay~

Me and Zelda turn 40 this year! 40 YEARS! The world has been made better by the existence of The Legend of Zelda for four decades now!

I hope Nintendo does something special for The Legend of Zelda this year. And by "something special" I don't mean a Game & Watch (Yes, I bought the Zelda Game & Watch, it's nice but I can't recommend it to anyone who doesn't love classic Zelda), I mean something REALLY BIG.

Nintendo, sadly, isn't the company it used to be, so I'm not holding my breath. But it would be nice.

It's not my fault, I was at my mom's for the past week and paid no attention to tumblr.

We beat Mario 3. It was awesome.

And played tons of board/card games.

Mostly Happy Little Dinosaurs.

It's just so good. Even better now that I have the expansions (they just showed up in the mail today).

Also, I finished the Thrawn Trilogy. Which I will henceforth call the Mara Jade Trilogy. Because wow, what a character arc.

Great stories. Terrible composition, but great stories.

Anyway yeah, that's where my head has been. I'll fill my queue again eventually...

A good Phantom Hourglass session lifted my mood and took my mind off of... THAT STUFF.
