Hi Princess, just wanted to write a shorter missive saying I’m finally about to finish my large reply to your last ask. Wanted to say I was thinking of you and how my heart yearns for you. Sorry I’m not as poetic lol, my words are all spent and it is SO hot today. Your knight doesn’t do well in heat (unless..?), so I’m writing a short vignette instead.

Hello my dear, precious knight,
My heart yearns for you too; I confess I grow impatient as I await your response, but perhaps its only fair after the way I kept myself out of reach. Fret not, I can be the poet for now (or at least make an attempt) as my aching for you crests anew at this missive. Your more direct language pierces me deeply, your desire for me plain and obvious. Is it terrible of me to admit that I enjoy this, too? How glad I am I've lowered my mask so I may receive such lovely correspondence from you.
I completely empathize with your current plight -- I also do not do well in heat (yes yes, make the joke). Would you believe I have (more than once) fainted in the shower because it was too hot? So please rest and recover well, be sure to drink plenty of water, my precious knight. I don't take such things lightly. I'll leave another letter with you only to be dramatic -- please know that I'd truly prefer you put your well-being above replying to me. I just can't help but to reignite that yearning, to stir the flame in your heart. I so love to hear from you... I eagerly anticipate your return.
