Well summer holiday is almost over for my grand and we can here high school echoing in the distance. It was a shorter holiday for us this year due to other things but we packing as much in as we can. As I pack the car to head to Nashville to take him home I’m sad that his carefree summer days as I know them are behind us. This fall will bring high school and new friends with new chances for adventure and learning. As a grandmother it marks the end of those giggles and small hands in the mornings when the sun rises ready for a full day of adventure, those mornings when you let him sleep until 10:00 because he was gaming into the morning hours with friends but the bond is still there along with the love between and grandson and his GiGi.
