Another child lost his life last night I feel any person who leaves home with a weapon knife, gun, cutlass whatever - they are leaving home with the mindset to harm someone and it does not take much to trigger someone who knows they are carrying a concealed weapon. A 16-year-old male was the victim of a stabbing. He was seen by medical practitioners at the Sandy Crest medical facility prior to being transported to the QEH by ambulance, where he was pronounced dead whilst receiving medical treatment. Man fatally shot at Morris Gap, Westbury Road, St Michael Police are investigating the unnatural death of a man at Morris Gap, Westbury Road, St Michael. Assistant Superintendent in the Criminal Investigation Department Victor Forde told reporters that police received reports of gunshots heard in the area. After arriving at the scene around 8:15 p.m., they found the body of a man lying on the road with what appeared to be gunshot injuries to the body. The victim, believed to be 30, was pronounced dead by a police medical officer. A 27 year old man has died following a stabbing in the City last night. The victim has been identified as Terrick Howard of Country Towers, Country Road, St. Michael. Police PRO Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss says a report of the incident, which occurred at a bar in Baxters Road, St. Michael, was made around 11:10 p.m. When Police responded to the scene they learnt that the victim had been transported by private car to the QEH. Howard subsequently passed away while undergoing treatment. A St. Michael woman is dead, and another is in custody following a stabbing in the city yesterday. The deceased is 27 year old Shanice Miller of Kensington New Road, St. Michael. She passed away at the Queen Elizaberth Hospital in the early hours of this morning. Miss Miller was stabbed multiple times about the body in an altercation with another woman around 8 30 yesterday (Saturday) morning at Upper James Street near its junction with Synagogue Lane. She then ran toward Central Police Station where she collapsed. An ambulance was summoned and she was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she underwent emergency surgery but later succumbed to her injuries. A person of interest is in police custody. A 20-year-old man was shot and killed last night at St Paul’s Avenue, Bayville, St Michael. The victim has been identified as Shae Antone Hackett, 20 years, of Dunlow Lane, Bay Street, St. Michael. Police say it was reported about 1010 pm that there was a volley of loud gunshots and afterward Shae was lying motionless on the ground. Police personnel from Hastings/Worthings Station and the Criminal Investigation Department responded to the area and confirmed the incident had occurred. Ambulance personnel also responded to the scene, examine the body, and found no sign of life. Another young male who was reportedly injured in the said incident was transported to the QEH Hospital by private transport. Murder #34 - Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred about 1145 pm yesterday along a walkway situated at Sandy Hill, St. Philip. The 55 year old victim of the same address Ralston Philip Agard was the driver of a route Taxi and he had reportedly parked his vehicle outside his residence when an explosion was heard. The victim called for assistance and a family member came to his aid. The ambulance and the Police were both summoned and responded to the scene. On arrival the victim showed no signs of life. He was later pronounced dead at the scene. Police have launched an unnatural death investigation. MURDER #29: Police are continuing investigations into the fatal shooting of Orlando Forde, 38, of Vauxhall, Christ Church that occurred around 1:50 p.m. Lawmen said Forde was at home liming with other men when he was approached by a man. The two exchanged words and Forde was subsequently shot. Forde suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body and the head and was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by taxi. He was however pronounced dead on arrival.
