Hair update|
So I finally took my twists down after how long? Washed my hair with the usual non-sulphate ALBA hawaiian shampoo, deep condish'd with tresseme deep keratin treatment masque and then L.O.C'd with 'grow strong' by Cantu shea butter and my oil mix (JBCO, olive oil, coconut oil & jojoba oil).
I am happy to say that my hair is thickening up!!! forreal, I have seen it so thick in AGES or ever lol. The back of my hair used to be so scanty and thin but now its really thickening up and becoming equal to the front, since I cut it before my twists came in its not longer (its grown since then! but there's no point comparing lengths since I cut like 6" off anyway...) I'm just happy with the result.
Currently leaving it in 4 down braids and will be wearing my normal scarf, buying a hat soon for days that I want to style and leave it out. I was thinking a bowlers hat to look all indie and hip.
L.O.C method.
This week I'm testing out the L.O.C method (Liquid, oil & cream) at the moment my hair seems to be feeling rather nice, smooth, not so frizzy and moisturized.
L I used my spritz as it contains majority water, then aloe vera juice and a mixture of oils that I find neccessary for my hair.
O I used my normal mix of JBCO and coconut oil melted in order to seal the mouisture into my hair.
C I used Taliah Waajid;'s curly curl cream after the oil in order to seal it in? Well anyway this was the only cream based product I had so I had to make do. I did not use a lot though, a drop size amount for my whole hair as I find the product to weigh my hair down easily and make my hair strands stick together too much :|
Then I did my normal flat twists. We'll see how it turns out for the next couple of days.
Curls Unleashed.
Saw these products at my local hair store and as I read the ingredients as well as scanned it verry well. I fell in love. Sulphate free, petroleum free, mineral free as well as being apparently a good moisturizer, shampoo and holding creme without that stuff crunchy feeling. Curls unleashed is definately on my list for my next hair shopping. Most likely going to use them when I'm in university esp. The sulphate free shampoo, Second chance curl refresher and Take Command Curl Defining Crème which is also a good moisturiser. And the best thing is, I don't have to order from America like most other products since they are at my local store! (London!)

Hair!
Halfway through unbraiding my hair. The progress is a lot! I'm actually quite proud. Thick, healthy, natural and beautiful...a little dirty too, needs a good scrubbing and condition. Leaving my hair out for a 1-1.5 week break before rebraiding...or twisting for college again.
Seriously should have popped in some painkillers before starting my hair. Ouch.
