If the NPC's ask for payment in information on someone else, what if your character... lied? Would they know? Would there be punishment involved for faulty information? What if a character thinks they know a true secret, which is actually a lie, but because they THINK it's true they offer it earnestly??

You are absolutely free to lie to the NPC’s with the information you give, just keep in mind that if they don’t know you lied now, they will eventually figure it out one way or another (via another source of intel that contradicts yours, through their own digging, etc.). Depending on the NPC, the fallout will differ, regardless of whether or not you delivered your payment believing what you’re saying is truth..

If you lie to Cheshire Cat and he knows you’re lying, the worst he’ll do is give you faulty information back. If he finds out down the line you lied, then he’ll just wait until the next time you come to him for help to do the same thing. He may also continue to feed you false intel if you are a repeat offender and / or your first lie turned out particularly troublesome for him.

If you lie to the Tweedles, their response will vary depending on the severity of the lie, as well as their own whims. You may find all your online accounts and digital devices hacked into and rendered unusable, you may find private information leaked onto the internet for all to see, you may see no immediate repercussions until the next big upheaval hits the city and suddenly you are being framed as the one who pulled the trigger.

If you lie to Jabberwocky or fail to carry out your end of the deal with her, she will not be forgiving in the slightest - if you are lucky, then she will merely demand a double-payment for your wrongdoings, though it is most likely that Jabberwocky will seek revenge, regardless of whether the fault is truly yours or not. Remember that while she is capable of swaying the plot in your favour should you ask her to, she can do the same in the opposite direction - you may find some major in-game repercussions should you wrong her. 

It would be wise for you not to anger any of the NPCs - they could be assets should you know how to use them effectively, but you do not want them as your enemies. Make sure to be careful when asking your questions to them, and to take caution to ensure that your payment will not end up costing you more than its worth.

What does the skyline of the Over-Wonderland look like? And what's the general feel of the Under-Wonderland? Sewers or streets or tall buildings without any sky?

Are you ready because here we go again.

The skyline for Over-Wonderland is set up as such: clusters of skyscrapers in varying heights and extravagant architectural designs towards the center, slightly smaller and more conventional building structures as you start moving way from downtown, orderly rows of suburbia houses on the very outer edge to the North, East, and West, and the docks that spread out into the ocean in the South.

You do have to pass through an intermediary level that rests between Over-Wonderland and Under-Wonderland as you travel between the two. This is essentially the sewer system for the above city, and there is nothing here except large pipes and tunnels.

The only ones who would need to come down here to this level specifically are the maintenance crews that keep the system running cleanly (people like Bill). From that level, there is another series of stairs that will lead you further down into the actual Underground.

Under-Wonderland is basically like a grittier, darker version of the surface level, and missing a visible sky. You still have your highrises and complexes, but they are not as tall as what you would find above-ground since there is a cap on how tall buildings can get underground. They are also obviously not kept in as pristine a condition as the shiny new structures you would find on the surface.

Everything in the Underground looks older and dated, like these buildings and roads have been here for decades, maybe centuries, longer than anything above. Infrastructure maintenance is clearly lacking, with everything kept together just enough to still be functional.

Since there’s no natural light, Under-Wonderland is solely lit by artificial lights. These are powered by huge generators that are typically found in clusters on the outskirts of the main section of Underground where the businesses are located. Incidentally, these generators are situated where the slums of Over-Wonderland are. Because of this, there is a constant rumbling that can be heard and sometimes felt from the slums of Wonderland. This noise can also be heard in the rest of the city, but it’s muted by distance and by the general sound of downtown.

There is, presumably, a ceiling to Under-Wonderland, as Over-Wonderland has to have been built upon something solid. However, it is not visible from below. Looking up from the Underground, you would only see the walls surrounding the city slowly fade to a black void overhead.

Would people in character call the queens 'the queens'? Is it an informal title around Wonderland? And is it their title only in the Above-Wonderland?

Hello hello! The title of “the queens” is almost like an informal nickname given to the characters playing the White Queen, Red Queen, and Queen of Hearts - their strife with one another alongside each of their individual power/hold over the city is well known amongst Wonderland’s citizens, and it’s generally easier to talk about their ever-changing dynamics as well as their impact to the City as a unit. Wonderland gave this name to them, and it stuck. 

People in character could call these three “the queens” and citizens would know who they are referring to - the queens would likely also be aware that this is a nickname bestowed onto them as well, though how seriously each one takes this kind of title is up to the player of these characters.

Their title of “the queens” is known Under-Wonderland as well, though it is something less likely to strike fear or reverence as it does in Over-Wonderland and moreso almost like a joke to some of those in Under-Wonderland. They mock this title, for Under-Wonderland is ruled by something else entirely.

No, we will not be releasing anymore skeletons going forward. Unless something dramatic changes with what we have in mind for the plot, all the players we foresee needing are included in the skeletons already in play and those still waiting to be filled.

is there a night club-esque place in game?

If you mean a designated area of the city where there tends to be more nightlife related establishments, I imagine there is. We never thought far enough to give it a proper name or anything like that, but Wonderland definitely has its fair share of bars and clubs and the like, both Over and Under. If you want to include a place like this in your app, or in a thread, I would say just refer to it vaguely, or you can make up a name for a specific bar / club.
