Originally Mike worked on an invention and was about to submit it to Anthony Sullivan and Billy Mays during the time they had their TV show Pitchmen. However, Billy passed away at the exact time Mike was about to present his invention to them. The tragic loss of Billy was felt by many and for Mike, the inspiration they gave him managed to move him forward with his ventures. His invention did not get anywhere but it was successful in bringing him to meet Nicole Andani.
