This guy was super proud and wanted everyone to know that to harass and bully a woman who disagreed with him organizing hate rallies he snuck into her ill father’s room who, yes is in palliative care. This photo was his response to her comments correcting his lies and hate speech. By the way he drove nearly two hours in each direction to take this photo. Our pride parade is today, but with it come the anti-pride parades as well and every fucking news channel shows only anti-pride or have interviews with some homophobes! But yeah, we are a progressive country for sure.

Yesterday at the picnic in Dolores Park before the Dyke March, I saw lots of people with American/Rainbow flag hybrids. If this "historic weekend" isn't proof of the government's agenda to turn queers into patriots, I don't know what is.

My cishet (confirmed cishet) friend just texted me to ask if i wanted to go o Pride with her and im just like sure if it werent for all of the reasons in which i think Pride in general and Pride Stockholm in particular is shit

I’ve been sitting back sipping tea while observing this mess of highly defensive gays going off about ‘anti-pride’ posts, as if pride and critiques of gay politics are mutually exclusive

Maybe next year try holding a pride rally that holds your prison system accountable for incarcerating trans women of color (without whom your parade would exist) at a rate 15 times that of the general population

Instead of celebrating your right to serve in the military, hold your imperialist military accountable for massacring queer arabs and queer north africans and queer south asians on a daily basis

Instead of celebrating marriage equality, hold your government accountable for regulating forms of relationships by providing easier access to institutional resources such as healthcare and immigration for monogamous queer couples while restricting them to non-monogamous ones

…but anyway that ain’t none of my business
