To all Anti-daryl dixon fans
Lets get the facts straight once and for all my freinds. Daryl did not get glenn killed because of pride. Daryl did not intentionally get him killed. Maggie forgiving Daryl was not OOC in the slightest. Heres why.
Daryl has always been the hot-head. He has always been the fighter, the animal. He was forced on his knees and made to watch as a man he considered family had his head bashed in. Then to make matters worse the SOB who did it paraded around with the blood soaked bat BRAGGING about it.
So what did Daryl do? He reacted impulsively and in the moment with murder filled rage. He didnt know negan would kill anyone. He didn’t realize his actions would have repercussions. He just watched his family memeber be brutally murdered flr cryiny out loud. Who the hell wouldn’t feel that amount of rage?!
And to say that maggie should blame daryl are you joking? Daryl is not a bad guy. This is the guy that went out of his way to search for a little girl. A man who sacrificed his new family to stay with his asshole older brother because he loved him. A man who countlessly and selflessly saved multiple characters in multiple ways and episodes fr seasons. A man who ran for hours behind a car to save a young teen girl he adored. A man who was ready to willingly get the crap beat out of him to protect Rick michonne and carl.
But yet he’s a prideful ignorant selfish etc who deserved to die instead of glenn. And maggie should hate him forever. No. Maggie knew daryl never ment for anyone to get hurt. She knew daryl sure as heck didnt mean for it to be glenn and thought negan would kill him instead. She knew daryl didn’t put anyone in danger on purpose.
So she chose to see what glenn saw, which was family and all in all a good man. So you know what? You mad glenn died great so am I. You pissee the reason the writers did it great me too. You obviously didnt read the comics however nor understand the fact about the walking dead family which is love, deep selfless, love.
