Hmm, I'd always thought that jealousy was associated with the colour green, but I stand corrected! It's clearly "crimson with jealousy", not "green with jealousy".
Just wondering are there any guys other than Dima on appblr? I've gotten several messages from girls but none from guys so far
tbh Dima is the only other appblr boy you’ll need #dimaniacs4lyfe
…aaaand I’m kidding; here are the fabulous boys of appblr—welcome to the unicorn pack! (and also brace yourself for many fangirls)
colin (colinandcollege)
jon (antimetab0le)
jordan (apstressing)
laurence (scholasticsafari) — he is also a les mis (en français!!) enthusiast holla
paayas (whenlifegivesyoupapayas)
stephan (collegestan)
antimetab0le replied to your post: just curious as to why you don't think barnard is for you?
yay finally an appblr who isn’t obsessed with barnard!!! <3
HAHAH but actually ♥ i feel like i'm one of the few appblrs who doesn't like barnard
antimetab0le replied to your post: I like the blog reformatting to Columbia colors heh heh. Do you think colleges take it negatively if you accomplish a lot in 11th and 12th grade, but not as much in 9th and 10th because it doesn't show "determination" ?
I discovered my great passion during my junior year and really took it to an incredible level my senior year. If it’s clear that you’re doing things you love, you’ll be fine :)
^this!
antimetab0le replied to your post “what are good sat/act scores for the top universities like the ones you applied to? i know you got perfect scores, and you obviously can't get any better than that, but what would be a good score range, disregarding everything else (gpa/rank/extracurriculars) for ivys?”
I have a friend who won a scholarship to UChicago with a math score in the mid 600s. However, she is BRILLIANT and got 780+ on CR and W, and her essay was incredible. A bad score won't throw you out of the running! :)
true, true! it's all in the holistic approach
antimetab0le replied to your chat: My sophomores: how did you survive junior year...
I didnt cry ONCE over schoolwork this year. Granted, I cried over 50 other things and had a bunch of nightmares about Physics, but I managed to contain my emotions :D
CONGRATS!! :) haha I don't actually cry. I cry inside. Like my soul is crying bc work ah D:
antimetab0le replied to your post: WAIT COMPARATIVE GOV IS A SEMESTER CLASS WHERE YOU ARE. APUSH TOO. WHAT. WHAT. GURL WHAT IS DIS CRAY. BUT IN OTHER NEWS, WE CAN CRY OVER STATS, BIO, AND LIT TOGETHER. HOLLAH.
