This little peace come in for restoration, needing a complete new case to be made from mahogany . The case was made for the owner and it needed to have access to the back to the mechanism to wind up the ship movement .

Antique Georgian mahogany wardrobe

This peace come in for restoration, it had some water we damage across the base and would need attention, their was the inevitable veneer chips around the carcass and cockbeading around the draws. Once theses were repired the wardrobe was cleaned before applying serval coats of wax and was buffed of before a hard wax was applied

Antique Victorian mahogany cylinder roll top desk

The desk come in for restoration and polishing, the peace of furniture had stood in a house for use for many years without being used . The desk had damage to the veneers around the pedestal plinths and would require the veneers to be replaced or repaired. The roll top section was damaged by somebody breaking into it. Breaking the wood and veneers. Inside the desk required new leathers fitted and tooled. The pigeon hole draws had some ebonised knobs missing , the pigeon hole compartments needed new fret to be made .During the restoration the desk has a locking mechanism the locks the pedestal draws once the roll top is closed. This was their but needed attention to get it to work again. Once all repairs were carried out the desk was cleaned then French polished .

George lll mahogany secretarie bookcase restoration

This bookcase come in for restoration, it needed some repairs to cockbeading around the draws, as well as some draw runners needing some attention. The carcass had some damage to the veneers around the carcass. The triple line around the bottom was damaged in places and would require some repairs with some new lines .the top section needed some glazing beads rpiring along with the cornice moulding needing some small repairs. Once all repairs were carried out and levelled. The bookcase was cleaned to remove the old dirt and p9lish from the surface..This would remove the water marks from the surface without damaging the colour of the mahogany. Once all French polishing was done and waxed the secretarie draw had new green Basie fitted

19th century mahogany drink cabinet come in for restoration with damage to the veneers around the carcass, theses were repaired and the cabinet was cleaned and French polished .

Antique mahogany 1760 London longcase clock

The clock case come in for restoration, the case had been restored and dark colour applied to the trunk of the case causing it to become dark . Around the case the clock needed some veneer repairs to the case . Once the old dark polish was removed the case was cleaned and required to be waxed only . The hood had some new silk behind the frets and glass gutted to the hood door . The brass ware was cleaned and highlighted only .

Antique oak 19th century roll top desk restored after being past down through the family . The desk was repaired and then French polished supply new lock.
