I’m a shipper, and hate that anti’s post in the shipper tag, BUT POSTING IN THE ANTI TAGS IS NOT THE SOLUTION. Mutual respect is, okay? I don’t care how heated, how mad, or how hurt you are. Don’t be rude and tag appropriately.

“fandom/tumblr is NOT your safe place” Well FUCK shouldn’t it be? It sure used to. Believe it or not there was a time where everyone was so much more understanding that this site is where people came to escape their reality where they could come on here to people that understood them. To escape the hate and abuse of their real life. And now they come on here to see people that SUPPORT their abuse. I’m a CSA survivor and on a website I can’t even escape the fucking past because you people are shipping children with grown adults. How does it work? When you see a child and think “Wow they would be so cute with this character who is much older than them.” When you draw nsfw art of a child with a grown adult and someone is just trying to look through the tag and sees it and it triggers flashbacks, causes a panic attack, which then leads to even cutting and an attempt of suicide. Why can’t you realize you’re hurting people in a place where they feel like it is the only safe place they have left. They’re are people who are still experiencing the abuse to this day and they come here to escape it and they see people glamorizing it. It’s sickening.
