I'm offended that Michael Jacobs honestly thought he could turn Corpanga into a friendship and not have people see it as romantic.
Disappointed that Harley and Minkus didn't get scenes of their own. They just got to stand there in the group scene. Would've preferred to cut World Meets Girl down to 30 minutes and have this one be an hour. Kind of suspected that they wouldn't really be able to do well by ALL of those guest stars and still wrap up the GMW business. Ah well.
The two Morgans were great. I've long preferred the second one, but they both had their moments. The first one made more of an impression in this episode.
Maya literally said out loud that Josh is a replacement for Riley. Rilaya fandom has been saying for ages that she likes him because he's the closest thing to a boy Riley she can find. I've grown so sick of all the Rilaya-baiting. I won't miss that. I'm headcanoning that Riley and Lucas will break up, Maya proposes to Riley at their high school graduation, then they live happily ever after and there's literally nothing that can stop me now. Also, put the last few minutes of this episode down as the second time I genuinely thought Riley and Maya were gonna kiss.
It was a decent little spinoff of a 90's show I really loved. There was more than enough potential for them to do something truly remarkable, but in the end they fell short of that. Whatever magic Michael Jacobs had on BMW seems to have evaporated for the most part in the years since. Those are my final thoughts.
