what if "alive dove" became an anti-ship thing like "dead dove". i mean you probably still shouldn't eat it but
why is tumblr recommending me a proud pro-shipper

ALL OF YOU!!! 🌸🌸
proshippers gtfo my blog challenge! (impossible, apparently)
You honestly...confuse me, to say the least. When I was about your age I used to ship Shadow x Maria and a few "abusive" ships from the Undertale fandom. Why do you try so hard to police the things you like? It's an honest question. It's really not that serious of a matter if someone prefers to see this pair of characters kissing rather than that pair.
Hi anon, I have a simple answer to this: I don’t want to harm others, so I make sure the things that I enjoy are not harmful to others. It’s very, and I mean very, important to think of what your actions do to others.
Thinking about how your actions affect others don’t end at hitting people, starting rumors, cyberbullying, cheating and scamming, stealing, and all those other things they teach you in elementary school. There’s physical harm, financial harm, emotional/mental harm...I could continue forever.
Whatever I can do, I will try to do it! Which is why, when I was introduced to the idea that shipping characters can trigger people, give them flashbacks to times when they were abused, I felt a pit in my stomach for some...old ships I had. They would hurt others, so I got rid of them. It’s the utilitarian in me, I guess? I care about doing the most good.
Also, people “my age” are maturing faster than other kids in the past because of our access to information via the internet. We just gain the knowledge sooner than they used to.
I hope that answers your questions, anon.
