I definitely DO NOT enjoy talking to you when I get the chance. It’s not like I get all !!!! when I see your messages or anything like that and God, you definitely DO NOT make me laugh. As a matter of fact, I don’t think I’ve ever laughed talking to you. Nope. Also, it’s not like we have head canonned things for our characters forever and a day or anything. Nah. 

You are most definitely NOT one of my favorite people and and I’m really NOT lucky to have you in my life. I really don’t hope I get the chance to go to where you are and actually deliver empanadas to you. Nope. 

You are not funny or smart or talented. I don’t see you as a challenge at all and I really don’t make a big deal out of your replies that are worth waiting for or whatever.

𝐒𝐇𝐄  𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐒  ,  𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆  𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌  𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐘  in  the  doorway  .  a  smile  perfected  to  where  even  the  𝑔𝑜𝑑𝑠  could  envy  she  remains  with  both  arms  folded  loosely  across  chest  .  there’s  so  much  to  be  said  in  the  moment  —-  the  𝑓𝑢𝑛  they’d  had  since  their  attention  had  been  brought  together  once  more  .  locked  away  tight  in  her  safe  is  a  𝑔𝑖𝑓𝑡  that  can  attest  to  that  fact  ,  a  red  ruby  ,  shining  and  crimson  that  had  been  conveniently  𝑟𝑖𝑝𝑒  for  the  taking  .  it  was  what  bound  the  pair  together  ,  so  she’d  told  herself  .

she  saunters  across  the  room  towards  the  bed  ,  cat  like  with  legs  for  days  and  crawls  herself  atop  the  mattress  with  the  familiar  smile  that  only  has  ever  been  reserved  for  𝑔𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑦  until  eventually  she  rests  at  their  side  with  her  head  curved  to  the  side  allowing  long  blonde  tresses  to  act  as  a  𝑤𝑎𝑙𝑙  between  the  pair  and  the  rest  of  the  world  around  them  .  ❛      is  that  so  ?      ❜  while  the  words  are  meant  to  be  coy  ,  there  is  a  softness  in  her  words  solely  intended  to  bestow  warmth  between  them  while  one  manicured  finger  traces  the  line  of  their  chest  .  ❛      is  that  because  you  and  i  tend  to  wear  ourselves  out  the  way  we  do  ?      ❜

𝐇𝐈𝐒  𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍  𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒  𝐔𝐏𝐎𝐍  𝐀  𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓  ;  a  moment’s  pause  as  the  drag  of  a  cigarette  fries  out  the  very  pungent  feeling  that  had  built  up  within  his  lungs  .  𝑤𝑎𝑠  𝑖𝑡  𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑡𝘩  𝘩𝑖𝑠  𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒  —-  he  thinks  .  he’d  settled  upon  himself  a  dangerous  path  that  reeked  solely  of  vengeance  and  solitude  ,  after  all  ,  it  was  lonely  at  the  top  and  the  𝐓𝐎𝐏  was  where  he  set  .  ❛      i’ve  been  stalking  death  for  so  long  that  she  and  i  have  become  …  𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑠  of  a  sort  ,      ❜  vague  to  many  ,  but  the  rest  lingers  in  a  clear  vestibule  of  his  own  pain  .

                                             some  would  think  to  call  it  a  𝑟𝑜𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒  ,  what  he  and  death  had  .  

❛    the  truth  ?      ❜    as  if  to  tempt  his  previous  declaration  ,  he  leans  against  the  bannister  of  the  balcony  ,  where  if  he’d  happen  to  fall  would  leave  him  spiraling  down  three  vast  stories  to  the  pavement  .  a  𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑒  some  would  say  ,  but  niko’s  own  sense  of  survival  ,  his  own  𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬  to  push  forward  was  hypocritical  at  best  while  he  shrugged  ,  half  of  a  cigarette  still  held  between  two  fingers  .  ❛    i  𝑎𝑏𝑠𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑦  would  ,  because  i  know  that  this  ,  everything  i’ve  built  ?  it  will  not  only  protect  me  —  but  my  𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲  and  our  future  ,  wouldn’t  you  think  you  could  say  the  same  ?        ❜

                           but  he  is  the  destroyer  ——  is  he  not  ?  was  that  𝑛𝑜𝑡  what  he  had  been  created  for  ?

❛      you  fight  with  your  missiles  and  rockets  .  𝐁𝐎𝐌𝐁𝐒  ,        ❜  it’s  huffed  between  heavy  breaths  .  this  is  not  a  matter  of  right  or  wrong  ,  it  is  a  matter  of  𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑣𝑖𝑣𝑎𝑙  .  with  nobody  between  them  to  prevent  this  self  destruction  (  james  buchanan  barnes  ,  wallowing  in  his  guilt  —-  tony  stark  in  his  𝑔𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑓 )  ❛    you  don’t  get  to  talk  to  𝐦𝐞  about  cowardice  .      ❜

“I---” And suddenly she’s caught off guard, completely at a loss for words and incredibly confused. Brooklyn looks up at Eren, dark eyes drinking in his features. “What?” She whispers and now her heart is beating faster as she tries to compose any sort of semblance of a statement but she can’t. What did he mean she knew?! “No, I ---didn’t know.” Should she feel foolish? Did she miss something?
