To Grieve

“Your life, your fate, has wrought tragedy to those you hold dear.” Vrtra’s words came to haunt  Mizuki as the events at Radz-at-Han filled her mind. Ahewann who she couldn’t save. The people she watched turn into hideous beasts. G’raha, who was thankfully there to quell the panic and bestow upon them a brief window of hope. What had she done? The number of Blasphemies were growing, fear and despair twisting the civilians into towering voidsent, and she could do naught to save them. Her constant actions had driven the enemy to new and more convoluted ideas to destroy the world, and now the end of days was in effect.

If I had been stronger… How could I let any of this happen? I am still so weak - I can’t protect anyone.

And so Mizuki left in the dead of night. She knew where to go to implement her plan. To simply disappear would cause great distress to those close to her and she couldn't bear that thought.

If she ceased to exist and all memory of her vanished. Then no one would grieve and they could move on with their lives.

Descending into the Antitower her heart weighed heavy with her decision. Truthfully she wanted to live. She had found so much to live for: friends, family, a home and someone she loved above all else.

But if her life would bring harm to them, then they would be safer without her.

So she began to weave a new paths into the Antitower: just in case anyone where to try and breach the tower.

Her vast knowledge of magicks aided in the twisting of the tower.

The hard part would be her true purpose. A spell with such a large scale even for her it would be difficult.

She just needed to chose the right starting point. "Forgive me, my friends."

The Scions would be her start.

Down the Up Staircase

My arrangement of Up the Down Staircase (Antitower theme) from FFXIV!  I am VERY happy to finally have this up, as I arranged it two years ago and have since gone through what I’d like to call harp speedracing with the amount of stuff I did.  Lots of fun technical stuff harpwise as well.

To many more arrangements and covers!  I’m looking forward to improving on all of it. :)
