Presenting my theory on the Anubis blankie statue that has probably been said before
Okay so like Anubis’s whole purpose was to weigh the souls for the afterlife right??
So many people get into weird bs arguments over “they took his blankie!!” And “who cares it’s just a statue it has no blankie.” And like. My crack theory on the matter is this is like. This is the soul weighing. The people who have empathy and compassion for Anubis losing his blankie have the good souls and those who have no empathy and compassion and boil him down to just a statue are like. The bad souls. Bro is actively doing his job. I feel like a crazy person with a tinfoil hat. But like. BUT LIKE!!!! HELLO!!!!
