Sure, it’s amazing watching ninja warriors traverse an obstacle, but what is sometimes overlooked are the awesome dismounts down from any obstacle. • Here’s a photo I shot of Adam Rayl looking awesome as he dismounts from an early obstacle on the Stage 1 Adults Course at the National Ninja League World Championships 2020. This weekend is an appropriate time to #flashbackfriday to the first ninja event I ever photographed, the Ninja Competition at AZ on the Rocks, exactly two years ago in Scottsdale, Arizona. — This competition was born from the ashes of the “American Ninja Warrior Experience” debacle and likely turned out to be a better experience for everyone involved. — I have to shout out Adam Rayl, last year’s Grand Champion of the National Ninja League World Championships.
