anxmosity
Needless to say, the sound of a sudden yelp while she’s walking home through the preserve in the middle of the night scares her half to death. Briefly her heart rate spikes, eyes instantly glowing an electric blue as she scans the area around her for heat spots. Her eyes narrow on a particular flash to her right that disappears in the same second -- blocked by a tree. It’s big enough for someone to hide behind.
The alarm suddenly sounding from her phone means that everything makes sense. SOMEONE is caught in one of her traps; she created an app that ensures she’d be alerted once they were sprung. Whoever’s caught in it isn’t too far away.
“Who’s there?” She calls, eyes dulling before she turns off the alarm on her phone. “If you’ve ruined my trap I’m going to be so mad.”
