It was...amusing when one stopped to think on it - a belief by more than just the humans. Of beings who knew of them more than just foretelling words on paper, but even they believed they were locked snugly beneath a seal. Kept chained in a manner of speaking until the very end and Death found his favorite expression more so than those last on the dying was the one of their faces to discover him. To know of what and who he was. That he wasn't beneath a seal - no that was something else, though it no less belonged to him. Was him in something of a sense. The HORSEMAN was beneath a seal and he would never be recognized by it truly until it was broken - instead passing through each time and centuries under some pantheon's own name for him. A new name and depiction every turn of the century - going from being worshiped to hated. But that was another story.

Not just him. War..or was it Ares now? His brother could call himself whatever he wished, though the name never tasted as sweet was W A R. It was what D E A T H would never cease to call him. Never buy into his illusions like, he would not into his own. It didn't seem so..but the former were more personal between the two than those other names. Only spoken to one another in mockery.

It was a..tricky situation - this business with the Originals, but things were getting fun again and it would be selfish for him not to reach out to his brother. Upon pale lips a grin slipped - curled at the edges and cheeks lifted like a child smiling to bare his full set of teeth. Like a child's anticipation and excitement dancing in nearly black eyes and a chuckle both chilling and light.

Character in general: oh my god okay, honestly, your muse is so intriguing and just reading about him puts me in awe. being that he's one of the four horseman is something i love on it's own because you don't see many muses like that and i just woWWW.How they play them: jfc i read some of your threads and once again i'm put in awe because shit, you grasp the concept of war so well and the interpretation is incredible.
