My daily life
#206
Write about a childhood memory that still makes you crack a grin to this day.
I will take one recommendation from each person.
What should I read?
When someone takes the game too seriously
“Okay, snuggle up, get cozy. We have hot chocolate, many pastries, and a whole margherita pizza all to ourselves. No lovers- no tears- only fun and horribly cheesy films.”
Hayley sat back as she looked up at the dark night sky. After a long night of arguments and break downs, she had taken a bottle of vodka and stormed out. Her band mate had gotten angry during practice and when that happens, it wasn’t good for anybody. It was one fight too much. So here she was, avoiding her problems, drinking alone. It’d get better after a few hours of alone time, and they’d of course make up. But still, she wasn’t ready to handle any of this sober. Beaches were always a safe place to her, even on a night like this. Her house was close enough to one that it wasn’t a hassle to get here. Her fingertips drew swirls in the sand as she watched the ocean. She flinched slightly at the sound of someone approaching. Her eyes flickered to the figure as she brought the bottle to her lips. After a few gulps she set it down. “Hey. Guessing you haven’t had the best night either?”
