WT Mission Report: Garlean Beast Luring
Had a meeting to discuss leads on a previously encountered Garlean group that was trying to lure beasts into attacking soldiers or civilians. Went to the location last sighted by a contact of the Lodge, Merrick. Saw no visible signs of movement or tracks due to the time between the incident and the time of the mission, but our Company Medic Anya was able to pick up something of what occurred in the area, using her ability to detect aether to track this faint trail down.
Followed her lead to what looked like a destroyed forward base or village; didn’t have time to discover which one it was as several squads of Garleans were moving about in the immediate area. Roar was heard, but not seen...
Spotted Merrick’s lost blade on one of the soldiers and decided that it would be a better idea to try and lure him out rather than fight an unknown amount of garlean soldiers and possibly magitek. Didn’t have any ideas on how to do this, but Anya suggested something...

Mission was successful. Soldier was apprehended, sword returned to its rightful owner, and soldier will be questioned for valuable intel. Might need to followup on condition of certain participants of mission later...
