Hmmm. I don’t think I can do this one justice because there are just... so many things to take into account. Would you settle for a list of headcanons?

Both of them are heavily influenced by Shadow Weaver (who they also got rid of probably before they took over). They’re super good at emotional manipulation, Catra has her temper, and Adora has her passive aggressive patience.

They rule together, but Adora is more of the face of the Horde because she’s always been That Person - the one people feel safe with, the one people want to talk to. Catra can be charming when she wants to be, but she doesn’t have the patience to pretend all the time

On the flip side, Catra is 100% the brains. She planned the entire takeover, starting with taking Shadow Weaver out and Adora in as his second-in-command. She’s the one who plans all the attacks, decides which troops are going where, knows the strengths and weaknesses of every soldier, etc.

They’re both respected by the rest of the Horde - yes, even Catra. She’s not nice, but she’s efficient, and things got a lot better when her and Adora started running the place. They put an end to abusing cadets (and anyone who tried had to face Catra for the consequences), they make sure everyone has better food - which is easier because they’ve taken over much more ground and get a lot of food from the villages and cities they’ve taken. Cadets like Kyle aren’t forced to train in impossible situations that they clearly aren’t equipped for - instead they’re put to use in other ways that aren’t as dangerous. Basically, Catra and Adora treat people like they’re people instead of machines

That said, they’re still evil. They never manage to take Bright Moon, but they take basically all the villages around it and set up compounds all around the castle.

It’s everything they’ve ever wanted, and of course they’re thrilled. They actually made things better in the Horde, like they said they would, and they’re happy

And together, of course. Confessing their love was basically the first thing they did once Hordak was locked up and they were still flying high from their victory

hi :D I had a question about "You Came Back", do you think Adora is the kind of person to get mad at Catra when she discovers that Catra is a double agent? Or do you think Adora would just immediately forgive her with no hesitation, like she did in canon on the spaceship :0 xxx

Ok I just wanna say how good that finale was, (talking about this is my kingdom come). And like, wow. Catra and Adora on a rocky shore at the base of a cliff? Catra sitting on the railing of the balcony all itachi-like? You'd make a really good screenwriter besides being a great writer in general

Hi 😭 ik this question is annoying, but how is "kingdom come" going? Do you plan on writing double trouble 😯 also i can't find the new chapter that u usually post today

I actually usually post on Wednesdays but I got busy and forgot and just kind of hoped no one noticed ^_^;;;; I’m working on editing the next chapter now.

I have season one done and season two almost done, it’ll probably shake out to be 20ish chapters when all is said and done (I’m at 19 now), and from there I’m.... not sure. Like obviously I want to do the whole series, but it gets complicated in season three. I think I’m going to make 3-4 and 5 their own stories (so three separate fics total), but I truly do not know yet what I’m going to do with season 3. I have thoughts, but it’s complicated because Adora isn’t a perfect 1:1 trade with Catra. She’s the antagonist in her own way, and as she is now, she would never consider pulling that lever.

I don’t know about Double Trouble yet, but if I can figure it out, I’d love to get them in. I really need to just start writing the stuff I definitely know I want to do and see how things go from there.
