Quick hand ramble bc I'm running in circles inside my own brain about it---
I have kind of.. a default setting for the way I draw hands, and it's been so funny to realize that setting is just Sam Spruell's hands lmao; it felt so wild to start drawing Ole and be like 👁️👄👁️ "Oh I was MEANT for this.." because it just felt so right jshdjs
Then, as I fell more into the NoWa hole--- I remember starting to draw Drax more and actively bitching about his hands "not looking strong enough" or "looking too much like Cav's".. so I just pushed the thought to the back of my head and keep going; but before I knew it I started to see his hands all of a sudden Look like Him and it was so cool???
TBH IT WAS THE BIG REASON I STARTED TO DO COLLAGES bc I wanted to see my consistency but..
I've never seen this kind of definition before in the way I draw my hands--(I guess too because I've mainly been working with creatures for the last X years and their hands are a lot more traditionally non-human)--so it's been a really nice process to prove myself wrong and be able to define a human character by their hands??
I love being able to see the difference between the lads now, it makes me happy..🧍
(It ALSO makes me happy to achieve the feeling of Drax's hands being meaty & strong as shit, jiji 👉👈)
