Wars slowly growling/being protective if anyone tries to get him to bark off/let anyone else close

Twi and wars. Still oblivious afterwards. But the entire pack knows what's up now

Okay absolutely love the pitch, I adore how not-subtle Warriors is being in this scenario. He deserves to get resource aggressive and make a little scene about it.

No Place for Secrets - Chapter 3

In which poor Twilight finally gets some comfort, and the others start to understand what life used to be like for him.

“Link gets his fits twice a year.” Bo’s chair creaked as he sat down across from them. “When he was younger it was worse, five times that first year, three the next. He tried to work through it, but it got to the point that he could hardly function. We had to ask him to stay put and… take care of it.” Warriors bristled at the too-casual way this human man talked about first rut. He had no idea what sort of torment going through it alone must have been like.

I love that “chopping wood” is such a euphemism too. Wars might just go become a temporary lumberjack if only to build Twilight a proper set of stairs and a larger house and a barn and whatever he WANTS without realizing that he desperately wants to provide for Twilight right now. For reasons.

Epona will defend Twilight to her grave. She can sense that he’s weak and doesn’t want these moody and impatient Links anywhere near him. Wild gets a pass because he gives her treats.

I can see her delivering a dehydrated, injured, delirious Link to Kakariko during his adventure when he doesn’t realize he needs to rest and regroup. Perhaps after his visit to the Hidden Village.

I think o!Sky is what's going to drop next.

“I know the temperature down here feels nice,” Sky said as he welcomed Twilight into his lap, “but it’s not really comfortable on the floor, is it?” Twilight made no indication that he understood or even heard what Sky said. He was too preoccupied getting in as close to Omega as he could, his breath coming in little uncomfortable huffs as he rested his cheek against Sky’s shoulder. Between them, Twilight’s stomach growled. “Why don’t we draw you a nice cool bath.” Sky’s fingers trailed down Twilight’s back, soothing some of his tension. “And Wild is making such a nice cozy nest for you upstairs. Why don’t we go see?” Twilight whined softly, turning to tuck his face in against Sky’s neck, right against the mark of Sky’s bond. A flare of panic made Sky’s hands twitch, but Twilight only nuzzled into him, scenting him with a quiet sort of neediness. He didn’t open his mouth. Their closeness wasn’t sparking arousal in his scent. All Twilight seemed to want was comfort. “You’re okay,” Sky whispered, squeezing Twilight about his shoulders. “We’re here for you.” If Sky didn’t know any better, he would swear Twilight was acting like an omega in heat.

For you, Bae, a token to ask the most important question ever:

What is Twi's favorite animal? Is it the goats? Dogs? Cats? The random cow that headbutt him in the back as a child? Or the geese that flock to him and unintentionally chase him out of pure instinct.

No particular reason for asking. I just gotta know what fam things did twi get ul to on many of your au's (writers choice for which ones lol)

HSH!Twi prefers cats above all. Growing up with friendly barn cats brought a brightness to his day where otherwise barn chores might have been dull. Even when he moves to bigger cities, having a cat or two (or more) in his place is enrichment for his enclosure. He used to show sheep in 4H, so he has a soft spot for lambs, too.

poly!Twi is all about the larger ungulates for food and fiber: goats, cows, llamas, horses. He's the one to (cautiously) introduce some of these species to Skyfall, and it's one of the biggest things he misses about home.

ao!Twi has no strong preference, although if pressed he'd claim the goats.

I'd like 2 things:

Sky to accept Twi under his care as an omega and for Wars and Twi to finally acknowledge they have feelings for each other and Wild is just a catalyst

I love these two things. I think that Twilight definitely deserves to have Sky's acceptance, especially after how much the two of them have bonded over the course of the story. Twi is p much always there when Sky is without Time and feeling low.

I also am looking forward to the point at which Warriors and Twilight finally Figure Their Shit Out ™ and acknowledge that they've got something going on that is ultimately positive and enriches each other's lives.

One of these things is going to happen.
