Updates and Schedule

          Hello, my lovely heathens! So, it has certainly been quite some time, but my beloved friend, @thethotthatbreathes / @i-am-here-with-fanfic, and I have a fair bit of news to share.

          First and foremost is our joint writing venture of The Illegitimate Son and Adamance of a Dragon, both set in the MHA universe following our respective OCs as they explore who they are and why. Both stories will be returning starting this Saturday (2/6)! We will be posting in an alternating biweekly schedule, i.e.- TIS one week, followed by AoaD the next, and so on, and always on a Saturday at noon PST. Lastly, as AoaD is a bit ahead TIS in terms of the canon MHA Timeline, TIS will be updated weekly until caught up before moving to the biweekly schedule

          Additionally, and my dear friend made sure I mentioned this, I will be writing a majority of both stories; however, @i-am-here-with-fanfic will still serve as a sort of creative director over their respective storylines, dictating what they would like to happen and occasionally stepping in to write major plots and certain scenes. They will also be aiding in the editing and beta-reading process, and will remain a major contributor, of course, as they are the original creator.

          Finally, an update on fics, both requested and not. I will be posting a new fic every Wednesday at 5 p.m. PST, starting today (2/3). Once I am caught up on those already in my drafts, I will start accepting new requests. I will also be posting to Archive of Our Own, WattPad, and NewTumbl. Links to these accounts will be added to my bio soon for ease. 

          Oh, and before I forget, all stories will be added to our joint blog, @chaos-caffeinated, at the end of each month, which serves as a library for our fics. I use the tag #caffeine to differentiate from @thethotthatbreathes, who uses #chaos. This blog is also a place for us to post stories that may not entirely align with our respective blogs. (And if you have yet to check it out, read Emotions Can Help You Remember, a multipart fic featuring Sebastian of Black Butler and culminating in some delicious smut! Just search #chaos on @chaos-caffeinated.)

          With that said, I wish you all a wondrous day, and don’t forget! We both adore having people interact with our posts, so don’t be afraid of commenting on stories or showing in our asks!

AOAD: Part 5.1 - Lips/Supplies again

So here we are, chickadees! At long last, the final stage of Adler-face, lips!

Lips. Since I didn't have the exact shade ("blood") that Irene uses, I had to improvise and create my own. So I used whatever I had lying around, and experimented. (Sherlock would undoubtedly scoff at this experiment, but he can stuff it.)

Now, I think in the supplies post I said that the darker shade was Revlon? But I don't think that's the case. I mean, I don't actually know, because as I think I mentioned, my aunt gave me that lipstick anywhere between five to ten years ago, so I don't actually know where from whence it came. [Note to readers: This is gross, I'm revolting, you shouldn't keep make-up that long. Depending on what it is, it should be replaced. Like, eye shadow should probably be replaced every three months? Maybe? And mascara every month? But I mean honestly, who has that kind of money/awareness of time?] ANYWAY now that I've let you all know that I'm a gross, vibrating ball of germs and disease, back to the make-up tutorial. Here are some lipstick ideas, on the cheap: Russian Red by Mac. The lighter shade you see in that picture actually is Mac, in Powerhouse, but I Googled for 10 minutes straight for that shade and instead got Apple products and library books so...I'm guessing they don't make it anymore. NEVER FEAR. Mac is $14.50 per lipstick, anyway, and I wouldn't even have this one if my friend hadn't given it to me, so here are some actually cheap options: Cover Girl in Really Red$4.99 Revlon in True Red$8.99. Cover Girl Lip Perfection in Hot $6.99. I suggest mixing and matching, because it's fun! You will also need lipgloss and lip liner. The first might be more convenient in terms of not having to sharpen it. Hoo-boy. This went on for longer than I thought it would, see the next post for the actual application of said make-up.
