It felt a bit strange being within the confines of this city again, especially when he realized he didn’t know it terribly well. He couldn’t remember what it was that had kept him from traveling the city’s streets, but he supposed it mattered little: what had passed had passed, but what was to come to pass had brought him back here.
So, he might as well make the most of it.
“But to arrive in this place again on the eve of a festival... I suppose his will is as whimsical as always.” He laughed to himself at the coincidence of it all, but it did strike him a little odd. But no matter, he thought. It was a good way to learn more about the people of this place, at any rate.
“Do you have a moment to spare for this small fox, my friend?” he called to a passerby. “There seems to be some excitement about this little gala, but I’m not all too familiar with it. Is this city paying tribute to some god or another?”
