Yaguchi Kyousuke is someone who hates to feel shame, in any shape or form. Unfortunately for him, there has been many situation for him to feel embarrassed in the past. Confessing to a girl, just to have her say ‘I actually like your cousin better’ and having said cousin catch him in the middle of one of his lies were only some of the many aggravating things that had happened in his life up to this moment. In fact, that second event was embarrassing enough to make him unable to look straight at his cousin... without blushing like crazy that is.
Now, even if he has experience with it, it still hits him as hard as the first time. Every single time. Now that he has been stood up by a girl -and after he had told everyone he’d be in a date too!- he can’t help but worriedly stare into the drink right in front of him. As much as he lives by his cutesy act, his pride is still to big for him to stand being humiliated in such a way... and he is pretty sure he is glaring by now.
All in all, he is determined to just walk away as soon as he finishes his drink until he sees a certain someone walking by. A guy, to be exact. The one guy that earlier that day, mentioned his desbelif at Yaguchi actually getting a date. He was also the kind of unpleasant guy that would also suggest being Yacchan’s date instead.
Now, Yaguchi doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone, much less to an idiot like that. Yaguchi, a competitive monster that certainly doesn’t want to explain why he is alone today even though he was supposed to get a date. Nor he wants to stand this guy going all ‘then I’ll be your date~ let’s have lots of skin ship~” because 1. that’s fucking gross and 2. the guys is gross too.
Now, he could probably deck the guy if his purity (?) was ‘attacked’. But ‘Yacchan’ is adorable and would never get into a fight.
So there’s only one (1) option to him, and that is to get himself a date in the next 5 seconds. Crazy? Maybe, but that isn’t going to make him stop.
Golden eyes quickly scan the other customers in search for someone that is alone... and that seems kind enough to play alone the game of being his date for the time being. He’d hope to find a girl, but no such luck. Well, if he is going to fake date a guy... better make it a hot one.
Gold eyes meet aquamarine blue and before he can force some logic into his own head, he reaches forward to him, his hand reaching for that other one, clinging to it almost desperately. Making his best puppy eyes, he tried to use his cuteness to appeal to the stranger.
“Hey~ I’m sorry this is so sudden. But I’m actually in a bit of a... situation now. Could I maybe ask you to sit down with me until that guy back there leaves?” he turns to look towards the window and eww, the guy is now looking at them, ready to walk closer. Please mysterious guy #1, Yaguchi’s life (?) is in your hands.

Back when he was in Mankai Company, Itaru had the chance to meet a bunch of ‘eccentric’ people. People obsessed with triangles, foreigners who messed up with popular idioms, people who had a poem for each occasion and people that slept all day everyday. Hence, he felt like nothing he could see would surprise him again.
He was mistaken.
He was positively surprised when he found someone just... resting inside the fountain at the park while he was doing some running. This is why he didn’t came out of his house unless he had to.
Just... what in hell...? Was this person ok? They didn’t seemed like they were going to come out anytime soon.
After debating on what to do, Itaru decided to walk in and take that poor person out. He had walked a couple of steps into the fountain, water reaching his knees -how lucky he was to be using his workout clothes- when the guy just sat up. Casually.
Well now. This was awkward.

@aoiboshi gifted Mizumachi with A Valentine’s day gift! [X] I never said I was going to wait to post these up. I forgot to mention it but i’m writing these all up drabble style so sCREEEW formatting.
Mizumachi stared down at what was held out for him. Staring at Kanata before him, he honestly could not say that they have met before, have they? No, that may not be completely truthful.
It was a given that as a person who loved the water as much as he did, he would visit the aquarium often. As such, he had seen Kanata around but never approached him to talk. He could see that the guy liked fish though.
Understandable. Them lil dudes were always swimming! That’s the life! Well, half a life, he guesses. Fish can’t play football and Mizumachi couldn’t quite live life without American football in his life. if he could be a football laying fish, then THAT is truly a life worth living.
Anyways, back to the moment at hand.
Kanata held out small fish shaped chocolates in a handmade miniature aquarium. He carefully reached out to hold the aquarium to lift it to his face to get a closer look at it. The chocolates were well made! Also, the display was good as he put them in a miniature aquarium! How cool is that!?
“Nhaa~ This is so cool! Did you say that this was for me? Really? Are you sure?” A wide smile fitting of a ray of sunshine, he excitedly looked down at the chocolates once more, truly happy and touched by the gesture.
Maybe Kanata had noticed Mizumachi like he’d noticed Kanata? It’s not hard to ignore a giant who constantly gets shushed for being too loud.
How COULD you be quiet though? Look at all those fish! All that water, even! Imagine SWIMMING IN IT! Swimming with THEM.
Unable to contain himself any longer, he gingerly set the miniature aquarium down and draped Kanata with an arm, bringing him into a one armed hug.
“Thanks a lot! I’m sorry I don’t have anything for you but I’ll hang out with ya today as thanks! The names Mizumachi-kengo by the way! What’s yours, friend?”
Yes, as far as Mizumachi was concerned, you both were already friends now.

He was having a discussion now. And, as i that wasn’t terrible enough, it was one loud enough for people in the immediate vicinity to turn around interested. Ah, this was no good. He was supposed to be the always calm and cute, idolized by everyone, Yacchan. However, no matter how much you try to lie to yourself, life will always come to kick you in the ass, and just like that Yaguchi’s short temper was now turning against him. He just felt like decking the guy in the face... but with all this attention he couldn’t help but feel it’d work against his cutesy image.
Even better -or worse depending on your thoughts on the matter- was the fact that, even though it looked like a couple’s fight it was more of him trying to get an annoying guy off his case. He wasn’t a goddamn homo for crying out loud! He was just playing around with the guy to get a couple of nice meals.
But now the guy suddenly wanted to get something more serious with him, and Yaguchi was trapped. The guy was stubborn and pretty damn intense, Yaguchi’s every excuse passing ignored when not completely turned against him.
If you have a lover then I’d like to see them.
He was already irritated enough for his thoughts to be rather... muddy. Fuzzy. Not very clear. So when the guy asked that, Yacchan turned around to look for some excuse just to find a pretty attractive blue haired boy. It was still a man with was a bit of a turn-off, but he was pretty attractive and he didn’t seemed like the overly attached type or even the violent one... so even if he suddenly made him up to be his boyfriend, it’d be alright? Right?
"Ah, babe! I was waiting for you” he said out of nowhere, stepping forward and pulling the boy from the arm to bring him closer to him. Golden eyes trying to give him the message to follow along, he leaned forward and pressed his lips against the others in an improvised kiss before turning around to the other guy. Arms now locked together, Yaguchi smiled “As you can see, this is my boyfriend”

five times kissed
The first time they kissed wasn’t until their third year, Chiaki trying to drag Kanata out of the school’s fountain in an attempt get him to please come to practice and stop you’ll catch a cold. He hadn’t quite gotten the hang of fishing Kanata out of assorted bodies of water yet, and this attempt failed spectacularly when a mischievous kiss was planted right against his cheek, causing his face to heat and his grip to loosen. That day had ended with him pulled into a fountain while his new unit mate blew bubbles around him.
The second kiss was on a hillside, after the two of them had given at least vague ideas of what they wanted to do in the future. Promises to support one another were exchanged, Chiaki looping his pinky around Kanata’s in a vow to reach their goals together, intending to stamp their thumbs to seal the deal. But Kanata had other ideas, leaning closer to peck their lips together in a more meaningful way to ink their promises.
Chiaki wasn’t awake for the third kiss. Knocked out in the infirmary after staking two all nighters, he was lifeless to the words after Midori had shoved a bunch of medicine down his throat. He’d been scolded by Kanata for being a ‘bad child’ before, but wasn’t awake to hear it this time. Nor could he feel the fingers brushing his bangs back or the subsequent kiss placed against his forehead.
It was his first time at Kanata’s home, and frankly, the grandness of it had him on edge. More than once he’d tried to escape, only to have one very displeased puka stopping him in his tracks. A lecture followed, something about taking care of his body and not worrying his juniors so much. The words rang true, and did make him deflate, wishing he could be out there taking care of his unit instead of entrusting them to others. Though the reassuring kiss pressed against his cheek didn’t completely make his worries disappear, the distraction was welcome and did make his face flush from more than just a fever.
In what he was positive might be their last stage together, he’d taken Kanata’s face up in his hands, caught up in the adrenaline and realization that the five of them might never be here again. Wanting to mark this place in time, and all the work it had taken to knit this strange family together, he drew Kanata’s face to his own, finally the one to press his lips against the others. Repayment Festivals always marked the changing of guards, but he sincerely hoped that he’d be able to walk along Kanata’s side for just a bit longer.
